Glow in the Dark is a ministry of Lifeway Baptist Church. In May of 2001, Glow in the Dark began with daily devotions for teens. By God’s grace, we are now sending about 11,000 teen and 4,000 junior devotionals all around this country, and the world, for the glory of God.
These publications are bi-monthly collections of daily devotions. It is our desire to exalt Christ by providing material that helps students know and pursue Christ above everything else in their daily lives. Because of this, we are committed to publishing devotions that are Gospel-centered, Bible-saturated, and Christ-exalting. While the devotions are written in different ways by different authors, we desire to emphasize strong biblical theology in the devotions that will enable and encourage biblical meditation. Furthermore, we are passionate about incorporating solid hermeneutical principles and clear exegesis in our publication.
Since 2001, we have added several new tools including a Glow Junior Leader's Guide for teachers to use in Sunday school, junior church, or a Wednesday club. We are also almost ready to launch Embark - a new Bible study series for young adults. This series will help teenagers walk through books of the Bible to help them understand the biblical theology of the book as well as how the content of the book fits into God's overarching redemptive plan.
